We’ve been watching the coming and goings of our little pollinators. Some are not so little. There is a really chubby bumblebee (or many of them) who has been enjoying the flowers. Although he is too big to fit in some of them, so he sticks to the sunflowers and lavender.
This is a little ditty that Shaynee would sing to the kids when they were little, but we’ve been singing again when the chonker bee pays a visit:
Bumbley-bee! Bumbley-bee!
Who’s buzzing around you and me!
It’s a bumbley-bee! A bumbley-bee!
Who’s black and yellow and really fuzzy?
