Just as our tummies were packed full of turkey and cranberry jelly, this weekend was packed full of holiday activity. Nikola and Shaynee ran in the Seattle Kid’s Marathon along with Monse and lots of other kids from West Woodland (and Seattle, for that matter).

Meanwhile, in the forest…
Alton and Popo & Gung gung & daddy drove out to the tree farm in Issaquah to fell a Christmas tree.

Later, we all went to the ZooLights experience at the Woodland Park Zoo. There were definitely more lights and more going on than its inaugural show last year. Not quite as flashy as some other winter light exhibits in the region, but without a long drive to a cold windy place (Tacoma) or sitting in gridlock to find parking (Bellevue).
