Today was Alton’s first soccer practice. Brodie is on the team, along with 5 other guys that Alton doesn’t know yet (but will all be starting kindergarten at West Woodland next week). Brodie’s dad, Coach Mike, is, well, coach. Also, Coach Joe.
Prior to practice, Alton had some trepidation while getting suited up in his new shorts and socks. “I’m not so sure about this,” he told Shaynee. However once under way, he really seemed to be enjoying himself. Starting the practice off with a round of “Kick the coach” certainly got the boys’ interest, and was right up Alton’s alley. There is the possibility that he might actually end up liking this.
