Jetty Island flats!

We took a trip to Jetty Island this week. Despite several summer day camps there, most of them were clustered at the southern end of the jetty. We headed north and set up camp with our sun tent right next to a beach fort that had been started. The kids added to the fort. The tide was quite low for most of the day. It seemed like we could even walk to Bainbridge from the beach. The tide only started coming in just before we left, but it was still quite shallow and the kids wanted to float on a driftwood log, but there wasn’t anything particularly big enough to support them.
