Nikola and Alton took gramps and grandma to the Seattle Aquarium today. It has been a couple of years since we have been, and the new addition to the aquarium looks terrific. Nikola said it was very neat. Alton snacked his way through the exhibits. Nikola really liked the flounders. Alton enjoyed the jellyfish. Grandma liked the octopus.
It was a perfect winter day — brisk and clear out, but not too cold. The snow on the Olympics was gorgeous. A walk through Pike’s Place Market with sandwiches from Beecher’s Cheese capped off the afternoon. Plus, Alton fell asleep during the drive home. Hat trick!
